Eine Mittagspause voller spannender Begegnungen, interessanter Gespräche und neuen Leuten, das ist der Gedanke von Mensa Connect.
Das gemeinsame Essen in der Mensa ist nicht nur deine Chance auf ein leckeres Mittagessen, sondern bietet dir auch die Möglichkeit spannende Gespräche zu führen und mit Leuten zu connecten.
Egal, ob du gerade erst angefangen hast zu studieren oder bereits mitten im Studium steckst, beim Mensa Connect hast du die Chance nicht nur auf deine Kommilitonen aus deinem Studiengang, sondern auch auf Studierende verschiedenster Fachrichtungen zutreffen. So hast du die Möglichkeit außerhalb deiner Bubble neue Leute kennenzulernen.
Wie funktioniert Mensa Connect?
Es werden pro Tisch zufällig 6 Studierende zugeteilt, sodass neue und interessante Gespräche geführt werden können. Jede Person bleibt so lange, wie ihre Mittagspause geht.
Dabei meldest du dich zu einem Zeitslots an, wann du ungefähr mit deinem Essen in der Mensula (direkt in der Mensa Academica – nach den Kassen rechts halten) am Tisch sein kannst. Dort triffst du dann auf andere Studierende und ihr habt Zeit gemeinsam Mittag zu essen.
Das Angebot ist eine Kooperation zwischen dem Studentischen Gesundheitsmanagement mein beneFit, dem AStA Soziales und dem Studierendenwerk.

What can you expect at Mensa Connect?
A lunch break full of exciting encounters, interesting conversations and new people.
Eating together in the cafeteria is not only a practical way to satisfy hunger, but also
also offers the opportunity to have exciting conversations and connect with people.
It does not matter whether you have just started studying or are already in the middle of your studies, the Mensa
Connect gives you the chance to meet not only your fellow students from your course of study, but also
to students from a wide range of disciplines and studies. It is a chance for new opportunities outside of your regular circles to get to know people.
How does Mensa Connect work?
Essentially, Mensa Connect is like a perfect dinner, except that the cafeteria cooks and you have the chance
meet new people at your university. Six students are randomly assigned to each table so that
new and interesting conversations can be had. Each person stays as long as their lunch break
goes.
You register for a time slot, approximately when you and your lunch can be at the table in the Mensula (directly in the
Mensa Academica – keep right after the cash registers). There you will meet other students and you have time to eat lunch together.
This offer is a cooperation beween the studens healthmanagment, the AStA Soziales and the Studierendenwerk.
