Für das Segeln auf den Berliner Gewässern ist der Sportbootführerschein Binnen Segeln (SBF Binnen) erforderlich – der amtliche Führerschein für Segelboote mit einer Segelfläche ab 3 m².
Im Segeln-Basiskurs werden alle essenziellen praktischen Fähigkeiten vermittelt, um ein Segelboot sicher zu führen. Vermittelt werden grundlegende Segeltechniken, Manöver und Sicherheitsregeln sowie erste wertvolle Erfahrungen auf dem Wasser.
Der SBF Binnen kann über den FU UniSport für Segelboote, Motorboote oder beide Varianten gemeinsam erworben werden.
UND SO GEHT´S:
- Der SBF Binnen wird in eine praktische und theoretische Prüfung aufgeteilt, die von den amtlich anerkannten Prüfungsausschüssen DMYV und dem DSV abgenommen werden.
- Der Praxisteil wird im Segeln-Basiskurs vermittelt. Nach erfolgreichem Kursabschluss kann die Praxis-Prüfung zum Sportbootführerschein Binnen Segeln (SBF Binnen) abgelegt werden.
- Voraussetzungen sind die Teilnahme an den ersten zwei Kursterminen (1. + 2. Termin) sowie die Anwesenheit an mindestens acht Praxisterminen, um für die SBF Binnen-Praxisprüfung zugelassen zu werden!
- Jeder Kurstermin hat ein eigenes Thema, welches nicht wiederholt werden kann. Terminausfälle können nicht kompensiert werden!
- Die Inhalte der Theorieprüfung werden nicht im Segeln-Basiskurs vermittelt. Daher wird die Teilnahme am Theoriekurs "SBF Binnen Segeln" empfohlen (Theorie und Praxis bauen aufeinander auf), der ebenfalls über den FU UniSport belegt werden kann. Wer nicht teilnehmen kann, muss die Theorieinhalte selber erarbeiten.
- Für den Theoriekurs & die SBF Binnenprüfung fallen zusätzliche Gebühren an und müssen selbst erarbeitet werden.
- Die Motorboot-Praxisausbildung besteht aus 4 x 60 Minuten (ab 104 Euro). Diese müssen, wie die SBF Binnen-Prüfungsgebühren (ab 120 Euro) extra gezahlt werden.
Anmerkung:
Alle Teilnehmer*innen bestätigen mit der Buchung Ihre Schwimmfähigkeit und erkennen die Bootshausordnung des FU-Wassersportzentrums an.
Für die Kurs-Teilnahme sind Deutschkenntnisse (mind. B2) erforderlich, da die Ausbildung und Prüfung in deutscher Sprache stattfindet. Das Mindestalter ist 16 Jahre.

Wer die Theorieausbildung nicht absolviert, muss sich im Eigenstudium darauf vorbereiten.
For sailing, the sports boat licence Binnen Segeln (SBF Binnen), the official licence for sailing boats (from 3 m² sail surface) for driving a sports boat on federal waterways and the waters of Berlin are prerequisites.
The driving licence can be issued by the FU Berlin UniSport for a sailboat or motorboat or for both boats together. The basic sailing course teaches all the basic practical skills needed to master a sailing boat safely.
AND THAT WITH ´ S: - Participation in the theory course SBF Inland sailing is recommended (theory and practice build on each other). Those who are unable to attend must work out the theoretical content of the practical course themselves. Additional fees apply for the theory course & the SBF internal audit.
- After successful completion of the course, the examination for the sport boat licence can be Inland sailing (SBF Inland).
- Prerequisites are the participation of the first two course dates (1st + 2nd date) as well as the presence of at least eight practice dates in order to be admitted for the sport boat licence internal examination!
- The motorboat practical training (4 x 60 minutes, from 104 euros) and the SBF inland examination fees (from 120 euros) must be paid separately. The individual dates for the motorboat training can be arranged.
General remarks:
German language skills (of at least B2) are required for participation in the course, the trainings and examinations take place in German.
All participants confirm their swimming ability with their booking and accept the boathouse rules of the FU Water Sports Centre. The minimum age is 16 years.
